My name is Tom, I’m a thirty-something cruise addict, and I live in London with my partner Jimmy.

Though my day job is working as a writer, speaker, and media spokesperson in the HIV & Sexual Health sector my passion outside of work has always been travel – and more recently cruising.

My first cruise was in 2007, aboard Royal Caribbean’s Splendour of The Seas (now Marella Discovery). From the moment I stepped onboard I was filled with awe at the floating palace that was my home for the next seven days. At that very moment, I was hooked.

Since then I’ve racked up a total of fourteen cruises, across four cruise lines – with two more planned this year.

This blog is where I’ll publish anything to do with my favourite way to travel – cruising!

Over the last couple of years I’ve become well known on social media and amongst my social group for my love of cruising. This has effectively turned me into my friends & family’s unofficial cruise travel agent.

I get asked daily how to find the best deals, which cruise lines & ships I’d recommend for their needs, what to pack, what drinks packages to buy – the list goes on. Thus the idea of a official blog was borne.

Along with tips, tricks, and cruising guides I aim to bring you my honest and unbiased take on what’s happening in the cruise holiday sector. Expect thoughts on new ships; refits of existing ships and changes within the industry.

I’ll also be publishing reviews, along with photos and videos, of my cruises as they happen – so you can come along for the voyage too.
